The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in many people are working from home and there has been much fewer clients wanting cleaning to be done on Saturdays. We have stopped offering appointments for smaller jobs on Saturdays. This is because it is not a normal working day for our staff and therefore, not worth getting a team to work specially for one small job.
A minimum fee of R1500.00 has been implemented for any job booked for a Saturday.
The minimum fee includes any cleaning up to the value of R1500 that is done at the client’s premises. That means that loose carpets that need to be cleaned at our office will not be included in the minimum fee.
It seems that many households have someone that is working from home some of the time and prefer for us to do their cleaning in the week. If we find that demand for Saturday work increases, we will reconsider this policy.
